Purpose of Home page

A home page is the content root of a website and is kind of a “mother” to all following subpages. All home page templates are very similar but have different headers and / or sub navigation. Also, slightly different components are used within the different home page templates. Furthermore they:

  • enable orientation for the user (use name of your institution, use lead text as explanatory introduction for the user); and
  • lead the user to the underlying pages (use teasers) – this does not apply to “T001-5 One Pager Centre.

The templates most relevant for the user are:

  • T001-1 – Home Corporate
  • T001-2 – Home Clinic and Practice
  • T001-3 – Home Centre
  • T001-5 – One Pager Centre

Content Guidelines

  • Only use Quick links if you have a wide variety of underlying pages
  • Quick links should lead to important, structural, static information or areas (e.g. Emergency, Opening hours – not: Library article)
  • Do not mix different teaser types (Image / Picto / Text) per row

Home Centre One Page

Home Centre One Page

The home centre is a subpage within the clinic the centre belongs to. It inherits the header and footer of the clinic. This is the template for a centre that has its own home page outside of the hirslanden.ch domain. So, the aim is to have a one pager on hirslanden.ch with the essential information of the centre and then link to the external webpage.
