If more content is available tha can be shown in a component, you can use the reload button on several components, so that a user can refresh only this component and see other content pieces in that component. The huton only refreshes the concerned secton, bot the whole page.
Function/Interaction
The Reload Button is a special feture available in the following components:
- Image Slider
- Video Slider
- Numbered Slider
- Image&Text Overlay
- Tile Wrapper
This feature can be activated in the component properties of the components mentioned above.
When the button is activated, you can chose a name and a color for the button.
Is feature is interesting, if there is more content available than the number of pieces shown on the page.
For exemple:
You have 8 sliders prepared, but only show 4 sliders on the page.
If the reload button is activated, the selection of the 4 shown sliders will be random.
A user can then refresh the component to see the other 4 sliders.
The buton only refreshes the component, not the whole page.
Author Rules
The button should only be used if more content is available than shown on the page.
The wording on the button should be kept short.
The color of the button should match the colors of the section.
