INTRODUCTION AND SYSTEM OVERVIEW

This document is intended to be used by Hirslanden employees working with the AEM system. It provides valuable information about the CMS, its technical infrastructure and how to properly work with it. The AEM web CMS has been crafted by Adobe and was highly customized for the requirements of Hirslanden by Infocentric Research AG.

The CMS enables the authors to create, edit, test and publish web content on the website. The back end of the system controls the look and feel of the live page, which makes it easier for authors to edit the content using the predefined templates, as the live page preview is immediately visible.
