Microsite Video Component
The microsite video component is used on microsites as header component.
FUNCTION/INTERACTION
- a looping video is shown with a link to youtube to play the full video.
AUTHOR RULES
- The microsite video component can only be placed on the microsite template within the microsite section.
- The component can be used with video or with an image only.
- The author defines the color, video, background image and text.
PROPERTIES
- Video: The author can upload a short video clip into the AEM DAM and link to it here. Please note that this should not be too large else it will slow down loading of the page.
- YouTube ID: The youtube id of a video can be set here so that the component can link to a longer version of the video on youtube.
- YouTube Button Label: The label that shows below the video, e.g. "Show more"
- Background color: In the above example the background color is red, there is a selection of colors to choose from.
- Image: The author can use the image instead of the video if no video loop should be used. if both are used, the image is not shown.
- Background image: Use an svg or png (should be transparent) here which is displayed in the bottom right corner of the component.
- Description text: For titles and text, this is shown to the right of the video. This is the only place where Heading 1 for page titles can be used.
The logo
The logo in the grey header area can be inserted / changed. This change is to be done in the page propoerties.
When creating a new microsizte from scratch, the logo area will be empty. Please insert a logo before publishing the page.
The Hamburger Menu
In the top right corner, you will see the hamburger menu.
The menu includes all "Microsite Sections" by its naming. So in ordner for the sections to appear as anchors in this menu, the sections have to be named propperly.
Section Title:
Name of the menu point inside the hamburger menu.
Section Anchor:
Name of the #anchor in the URL.
